Great website Bob!!! A proposal is in the works for a Solar Greenhouse Test Module at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta as part of the Sustainable Campus International Competition. If we get the unit up and running we will share any and all info with you (and the rest of the free world;)!
I emailed you and asked if you could come over and give me suggestions on my greenhouse. Hope you received the email.
Have you experimented with solar can heaters?
Bob, at what temperature are your vents set to begin opening in the greenhouse ? At what temperature are they fully opened?
Does anyone else know what work here ?
Hi, looking to get some advise on heat management...fans...I am in Haines
I appreciated your informative presentation at the Carcross Community Campus on Feb. 17. Well done. Thank you!
We should talk .... can you give me a quick call when you have a sec?

Great info. Appreciate the details on your site. Can you tell me how deep you elected to make your cobblestone thermal mass below grade? How did you dig this out?
Hi there Phil, not sure if you’re going to receive this but I’m trying to determine the value of digging down below grade and if this would make this type of greenhouse more of a year round thing. Any thoughts?
This is apparently a legit way to tap into the earth's stable temperatures. If insulated you can evidently heat your greenhouse throughout the winter but I do not have direct experience with it.
Bob Sharp has been involved in exploring ways of developing greenhouses in the north that require minimal cost and maintenance.
